Dubois Garage Dubois, Pa. Butter Pat 3 3/4" Jackson China 1934 Frank B. Weaver was a pioneer businessman in the Dubois area working in the lumber, tin & hardware business. In 1914 he became a partner with Dr. J.C. Borland acquiring The Dubois Garage. He was head of the business for more than 25 years until it developed into Weaver's Inc. , largest of it's kind in the auto parts business. Mr. Weaver passed on in July of 1947. Cross Keys Twin Diner New Oxford, Pa. Bowl-Fruit 5 3/8" Iroquois China C.1940 (A-1) Founded in 1937 by John E. George this is one of the classic american diner's. Feb. 14, 2003

El Chico New York City Creamer 2 1/4" Syracuse China Aug. 1940 (U-9) "As Spanish as Spain". Location 80 Grove Street at  Sheridan Square Greenwich Village.  Managed by B.C. Collada. Feb.23, 2003

College Inn Cafe Oakland, California Butter Pat 3 1/8" John Maddock & Sons England Nathan -Dohrmann Co. San Francisco C.1906 Founded by Chas. Newman in 1906 this remained a popular spot in Oakland for many years. It is now a chinese restaurant. Mar. 2, 2003

Doggie Diner Bay Area, California Coffee Mug 3 1/8" Tepco China C.1950 In it's hay day there were Doggie Diner's all over the bay area from San Francisco to Oakland and beyond. Today there is one Dog left standing near the San Francisco Zoo. The original dog is out front but it is no longer a Doggie Diner. The diner's were open from 1949 until 1986. Mar. 10, 2003
